Lamb Reports Football Staff Reorganization
Greeley, Colorado — Ed Lamb, the head football coach at Northern Colorado, announced a coaching staff reorganization on Wednesday.
“After reviewing the program, I believed that reassigning coaching duties to our current coaching team would improve us,” Lamb stated. “The returner student-athletes on the team have a feeling of familiarity, and the adjustment will be easy. eager to finish our recruiting class for 2024 and prepare for spring practice.”
In addition to serving as the NFL liaison and associate head coach, Aaron Fernandez will still oversee the defensive line.
Leading the special teams unit will be assistant head coach Michael Smith, who also coaches the running backs.
In addition to serving as defensive coordinator in 2023, Preston Hadley coached safeties. He will now coach linebackers and serve as the defensive coordinator.
James Pazak is moving from linebackers to safeties.

Nick Nissen is moving from offensive line to tight end.
Spencer Patterson is switching to tight ends from the offensive line.
There will be a subsequent announcement on the hiring of a wide receiver and quarterback coach.
