REPORT: Another Mega Star Commits To Geelong Cats..

Cats re-sign duo until 2025

Both Knevitt, 20, and Blicavs, 32, have agreed to two-year contract extensions that will keep them with the Hoops through at least 2025.

Throughout his career, Blicavs has shown excellent flexibility and durability, making him one of Geelong’s finest players in 2023. He has been utilised all around the pitch whenever the club has required him.

When Blicavs was trying to earn a spot in the 2012 Summer Olympics as a middle-distance runner and steeplechaser, the Cats noticed him and recruited him as a Category B rookie.

Blicavs quickly transferred his skills to the AFL, making his Cats debut in Round 1 of the 2013 AFL Premiership Season. In his 11 AFL seasons, he has played 234 games.
