REPORT: So Sad, The Dallas Stars Head Coach has been Issued A…

“Go ahead and write whatever f**k you want”: Pete DeBoer responds to a reporter criticizing the Stars’ Game 5 performance.

On Friday, the Dallas Stars lost 3-1 to the Edmonton Oilers in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. When a reporter questioned the Stars’ second-period play, head coach Pete DeBoer responded sternly.

DMN journalist Tim Cowlishaw questioned Pete DeBoer about his team’s performance in the second period of the game during the post-game press conference on Friday. Despite DeBoer’s admiration for the Oilers, the second period appeared “lifeless” for DeBoer’s squad, who fell behind and failed to put pressure on the Oilers.

“I mean, listen, there’s always things you can do better,” DeBoer replied. “I am not—you know, you can sit here and criticize our character all you want. You haven’t been here all year. I haven’t seen you here in a year.”

“So, yes, that’s what you’re doing. So, what do you know? I will not do that. You can write whatever f**k you want.”

While DeBoer admitted that there was always room for growth in a team’s performance, he refused to doubt his team’s character.DeBoer dismissed the reporter’s allegations by stating that they could write whatever they desired.
